At Sutton Flooring, we are always looking for meaningful ways to support the local communities we serve.
Each year, Sutton Flooring contributes to charitable organizations and community events through a variety of in-kind donations, such as raffle items, gift cards, and branded merchandise. We are proud to support causes that strengthen our communities and improve the lives of the people in them.
Please read the requirements below before submitting your request. The link to our donation request form can be found at the bottom of this page.
Sutton Flooring offers various in-kind donations, such as gift cards, raffle items, and promotional merchandise. To help make the process efficient and fair, our donation committee has established the following guidelines for charitable giving requests.
While we would love to support every worthy cause, we are not always able to fulfill every request due to the volume of requests we receive and the frequency of our charitable giving.
Donation requests must be submitted at least 45 days prior to your event.
Unfortunately, due to budgeting and scheduling considerations, requests submitted within less than 45 days of the event may not be considered.
We do not accept unsolicited requests for sponsorships or monetary donations.
Requests must be submitted by an authorized representative of the event or benefiting organization.
Organizations are eligible to receive one donation within a 12-month period.
If you represent multiple organizations, please select only one organization for donation consideration per calendar year.
To help support as many groups as possible and encourage a variety of fundraising sources, organizations that have received donations from Sutton Flooring for two consecutive years may be asked to wait one calendar year before reapplying.
Donated items from Sutton Flooring must be used only for the event for which they were requested and approved. Donated items may not be resold or transferred for use in other events without prior written approval.
Sutton Flooring is unable to provide event staffing, setup assistance, or on-site support for donated items.
If selected, donations must be picked up from a designated Sutton Flooring location unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to deliver or ship donations.
All donation requests must be submitted through the online request form below. We are unable to process donation requests made by email, phone, or in person.
Sutton Flooring is pleased to consider requests from groups and events located within [your service area / state, e.g., Illinois] that align with our commitment to community support, including:
Educational and Youth Programs — schools, after-school programs, youth mentoring, classroom initiatives
Arts and Cultural Organizations — music, theater, community arts, historical organizations
Humanitarian and Community Services — community centers, shelters, veterans programs, medical fundraisers
Environmental and Community Improvement Organizations — conservation groups, neighborhood improvement efforts, sustainability programs
Animal Welfare Organizations — local shelters, rescue groups, foster and adoption programs
Donation requests honored by Sutton Flooring may include:
Gift cards (for products or store use)
Raffle or auction items
Branded merchandise / promotional items
Other in-kind donations, depending on availability
Please note that donation availability may vary based on inventory, timing, and the nature of the event.
Sutton Flooring generally does not consider donation requests for organizations or events that:
Are for-profit businesses or commercial ventures
Are not submitted by an authorized representative
Request monetary contributions or sponsorships only
Request items for resale outside the approved fundraising event
Reallocate donated items to another organization without approval
(If your company specifically wants to require nonprofit status, we can tighten this section to include 501(c)(3)/(6) language.)
If Sutton Flooring selects your organization or event for a donation, we will contact you by email with next steps, including pickup instructions (if applicable).
